Software Engineer
Working as a Backend Engineer in the Jobs team, striving to make recruiters’ lives easier. I primarily build new features, occasionally break old ones, ensure overall system stability (still not sure though!), and scale existing features, including APIs, platforms, and databases.
- Led the migration of Dubizzle’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to a new platform, integrating OpenSearch and a microservices framework, which increased scalability by 30% and improved operational efficiency by 15%.
- Developed hiring pipeline and candidate relevancy features for Dubizzle’s ATS, streamlining recruiters’ processes and enabling quicker hiring of suitable candidates.
- Develop new features and continuously monitor applications to identify and fix bottlenecks and bugs, ensuring optimal system performance.
